Debashish Chakrabarty is an artist and author currently based in Michigan. He was born and grew up in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. A photography graduate of the capital’s Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. His works look closely at the state mechanisms, power, and production relations to reflect on the human condition shaped by these preconditions. He has been using diverse optical, photographic, and drawing techniques to narrate stories that reflect various degrees of human experiences.
